Class Information/ Expectations:
- Students are expected to arrive on time and be prepared for class
- DRINKS: Water is the ONLY drink allowed in class. Any other drink will be thrown out upon arrival. Please see the handbook for more information
- While we are a "no homework" school , students WILL finish any classwork that is not done at home as extended day assignments
- Absences: if a student is absent, it is their responsibility for asking me what they missed in class. They will have the appropriate number of days (2 days/ number of days absent) to complete their assignment before it is considered late.
- School dress code will be strictly enforced! Please be sure to arrive to class wearing the proper uniform. Don't know what that is? Please Click Here
Late Work Policy:
- All classwork/extended day activities should be turned in on the specified due date. If classwork/exteneded day activities are turned in late, the student will loose ten (10) points per day, up to five (5) days. After the five (5) days no work will be accepted. However, if a student would like to turn it in after this period for partial credit, the assignment will require a parent signature acknowledging that the assignment was late. This does not include students who have accommodations that allow them additional time (though these students must adhere to their extended time amount- if they exceed it, the same late work policy applies)
- Students who are absent but were aware of the assignment's due date prior to them not being in school are still responsible for turning in the assignment when they return to class. The only time absences affect due dates/ deadlines are if the student missed out on instructional time, or was not in class the day the assignment was assigned. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please contact Mr. Linehan.
